Today inside the coffee shop a guy came in screaming, “What is wrong with you people? You’re all hypnotized by the Black Mirror! Look at all of you! Is this reality? What is reality?!”

One of the guys behind the counter went to go talk with him, then he just sat down for about five minutes, then he left. Curious, I followed him, and asked him why he was screaming those things.

“Do you agree?” he asked me.

“Yes,” I said. “That’s why I wanted to talk to you more.”

“What is reality?” the young bearded kid asked me. He looked like he could have been Jesus with light brown hair, and clear-looking eyes. He was well dressed.

I walked with him a little bit until we got near South Side Park.

“Why did you walk with me?” he asked me, after I told him I had to go back to my parked car.

“I just wanted to tell you that what you said made sense,” I told him.

“I felt crazy doing it,” he admitted. “Like I was some homeless dude.”

“I’ve felt that way before,” I told him. “I want to let you know that the way people have been conditioned makes them blind to the reality you see. No one will pay attention to you, if you communicate that way in the future.”

“What do I do, then?” he asked me.

“Learn to communicate like God,” I told him. “Like an artist.”

“How do I do that?”

I thought about it for a moment. “I’m opening up an Academy, like Harry Potter, but much better - I’m the Story Director - I make sure everybody is on a path to win, depending on the chapter of their life - you know, like that - it’s an interactive story with your education embedded into the experience.”

“How did you think of such an idea?” he asked me.

“I’ll tell you that,” I told him. “But that is knowledge that cannot be given away without a context - true knowledge is a process - and every learner is different.”

“I want to learn!” he tells me.

This surprised me. I never had anyone actually show any interest in any of my ideas.

We exchanged information, then as I thought more and more about our interaction

I wondered if I had done enough for the kid

Maybe I had been cold with him

Maybe I had encouraged a destructive attitude.

The main message I tried to frame was to validate him.

That, yes, it was painful for me too to see the homeless people on the street

While everyone was on their devices

To watch churches in their dogmatic routines

And money managers

Retired getting ready to die

At the height of the potential

Brainwashed like NPC we are…that’s what we had talked about on our walk

He asked me who I was that I knew so much

I told him I am an anthropologist who is very curious about what reality actually is…

I like to go deep

I like to know people

I”ve been in love four times

And everyone of those relationships taught me things I did not know about myself

Then they released me

And here I am convinced that synchronicity with God is the Supreme state of mind

And so now I have no one pulling at me

And it is me and God on this Earth

And I am a Candidate for California Governor.
