Nelly Chonez | A Cautionary Tale about a Straight A Student & System Bot - Kelly Gonez
July 12, 2026, 9:48 am
Nelly Chonez is the character inspired by Kelly Gonez in OptomystiK, Chapter 1: The Los Angeles Dystopia where Kelly Gonez inspired a real-world archetype close to Ariana Grande's character in "Wicked".
Penelope: Now that you’ve written Karen Bass’ story sequence with the character named Sharon Sass to clarify that what you’ve created is a character based on real data that inspired you to create a character the public cannot see behind the scenes.

Louis: Exactly. I want to put Kelly Gonez’ lack of awareness in the spotlight with this story - once the public becomes aware of what she is enabling through the process by which LAUSD onboarded them into their bureaucracy - the the public will be able to see the extent of the damage that her leadership causes inside Los Angeles on a mass level.
Penelope: What do you want Kelly Gonez to do?
Louis: I want to her take a very close look at my case, and look at the reality that actually occurred - she is being surrounded by a bunch of high-powered lawyers, snakes, whispering falsehoods that are enslaving her people - until she takes action on my case, and sees the reality of what occurred at Van Nuys High School, the art will get more powerful and illustrative so that we take down the scaffolding that LAUSD has built around a false identity that simply does not know reality.
Penelope: Your writing 9 scene sequences in the form of an interactive movie?
Louis: Exactly. Kelly Chonez is a tragic character; and, oddly enough, only the TRUTH cand redeem her - she will lose her career, her prosperity, her gifts from GOD until she awakens to the reality of her attitude, her perception and her deep failure that she is enabling inside LAUSD schools.

Penelope: What is happening inside LAUSD schools?
Louis: Right now, the district is gas-lighting the public; and the reality is that most of the money that is stolen is built-into its culture that is managed by lawyers who tell district employees what to do - Andres Chait is no leader - he’s a slave to the lawyers who are owned by wealthy elites.
Penelope: How do you know this is true?
Louis: After noticing how LAUSD blatantly made up evidence against me, I was able to experience the true character of the school district. Once I realized it was all just an act, that’s when I got motivated to tell the real story about LAUSD schools and how Kelly Gonez is really just a woman who was onboarded into a corrupt system she is unaware of…I will make sure she finds out, then when she knows the truth…God will take his own action on her reality. That’s something I cannot control, but what I can do is to illustrate to the public a conceptual reality through a very powerful story behind the veneer of her smile. Lots of it will be in Spanish - I never imagined I would ever make Spanish content - it’s tied to a very good cause.
