Penelope: 009RIDR is the research division of OptomystiK. Why does it exist?

Louis: We are all limited by our perspective, and if there is a desire to affect the greater reality - there has to be a discovery process and determine what reality actually is…I’m admittedly a little aloof - although I have a Spanish and Italian lineage, my genetic story has a lot of breadth - an Irish King, Nialles, a famous French King, and some other notable lineages, which got me thinking about the nature of reality - and if indeed our perspective of the world is curated by our genetic filter, how exactly is my lineage curating my view of the world. I used to think of myself as a passive observer enjoying the planet, but when I realized nobody is doing anything about obvious things…and it kept going and going…and it started getting so ridiculous that no one is doing anything except trying to survive…I realized reality was become a real shit show…and how long was I prepared to watch before deciding if I was going to to do something. Normally, I’m not so community oriented, but I love my family and I love my kids, and I think about all those kids I taught where I told them they had hope in the world -- but that turned out to be untrue. I was deluded, and I’m one of those citizens who drank the Kool- Aid about Capitalism being freedom. It’s clearly not.

Penelope: What are some of the findings that surprised you from 009RIDR research?

Louis: The research division of OptomystiK has come to the conclusion that only the elites know we live in a simulation while the rest of the population is left waddling in their under-educated state through the industrial age educational system.

Penelope: How does it work?

Louis: 009RIDR research estimates that about 67% of tax money is stolen through systems that overpay and indirectly enrich wall street companies connected to exclusive funds invested in by a pool of elites. Triangulation means you have to observe enough facts in-person (the LAUSD iPad tech committee), which showed me that heart of our educational system is money-driven - not one person in those senior management positions in LAUSD demonstrated that they wanted to engage in improving education - they’re all mercenaries or bureaucrats - the mercenaries get bribed by the non-profits - and that’s how the heist occurs. I only know because I witnessed it personally.  This knowledge is very upsetting, but the real challenge is that people understand that this is a real bottleneck in our society. Church groups complain about schools, but they take no action other than home-school their kids - churches are politically naive when it comes taking real political action.

Penelope: Is GOD real?

Louis: We are born into a world not knowing, but the more familiar we become with patterns the more we can see the structure we are in - this hints at a creator who has cleverly produced everyone of our storylines. Religions today means agreeing to become a part of a local loop to discuss various approaches to God - it’s repetitive behavior and most of these churches will eventually ask for tithings - 10% of our income to become a member - it’s quite the thing - like local organization funded by members to talk about God - when you visit these churches, however, all you can do is observe the behavior and wonder what it all leads to - and my answer to that is healing and community - if you zoom back, it’s a group of people performing a loop of behavior that varies a little bit every year - when you join, it’s an agreement to participate.

Penelope: Is it worth it?

Louis: Yes. I think to talk about God on Sundays is a very noble effort, and it takes money to make that happen - those who belong to these churches are some of the kindest people I’ve met on Earth. It’s sincere and real, the belief in God many of them have…and to see that is delightful.

Penelope: Do you belong to a church?

Louis: Being aware of the nature of reality makes you think about how you spend your time. Right now, I see the Mission of OptomystiK as a sustainable effort that can end homelessness. I haven’t been able to engage any church groups with this idea; I think they’ve agreed to a set of rituals more than GOD because true believers in GOD would be excited to take action. I could not detect that enthusiasm in the religious communities.

Penelope: What insight do you think people are missing in their view of reality?

Louis: Humans are the technology of GOD. When you understand this, you realize how limited your behavior is only because you’ve been conditioned. We’re all addicted to our routines, wants and desires - we don’t see actually reality because the spell that the industrialist put on everyone is quite powerful. I see my mission as creating art that awakens the population to the physics of reality.

Penelope: What is reality?

Louis: Reality is physics, and perceiving the physics means being able to pierce the veil that we’re born into - it’s quite difficult.

Penelope: Is that why you try to create edgy work?

Louis: It took me a while to be a courageous storyteller with bold ideas, but edginess is the technique I learned at an ad agency in Los Angeles - the artist has to say things no one else dare say - otherwise - everyone gets slowly boiled like frogs, instead of jumping out before its too late.

Penelope: It is too late?

Louis: I’m driven by the love of people; if that means being misunderstood at first, that’s a feeling I’ve learned to live with - that you could possible be misunderstood - once the decentralized concept can be demonstrated - it would validate the reality.

Penelope: What is reality?

Louis: Prayer is a form of technology to access the divine will of our creator. To see reality, is a gift and curse. I tell God I'd rather go somewhere to rest; but I also have first-hand knowledge of the extreme poverty and neglect in California. I'm driven by my love of GOD, the gratitude for what he has given me. God is delighted by my effort, I believe; he sees me stumble and learn along my path. He knows that I know that Earth is a giant chessboard; and that gripping and seeing reality is how you get real traction. Reality trumps illusion. The challenge is building the right team that is grounded in the base reality. If you know reality, you know we're in a 911 situation - and that's the kind of urgency I wake up with - I know God observes me. He sees me trying 100%, and that's how I learn, get informed, and update my process - everyone comes with their own perspective- and I can't let myself get discouraged by how long the process takes - being OptomystiK is the software of effort day-in-day-out - it's more about the journey than the destination. In my mind, I just can't rest seeing homeless people, kids who are miserable and young people without opportunity. I'm driven because I know I can make it work, and the timing is something I'll never quite understand...it tests me.
